In addition to
 River School

we also perform concerts tailor made to promote literacy and character development

Read & Write for the Environment

Creativity is essential to our survival.  Reading & writing encourage inventive thoughts

Concerts combine interactive songs about reading and writing with our environment

A fan favorite is our hit song

"Open Up A Book.......Turn Off the TV!"

"The Watermelon  Song" is a great spelling song that features seed spittin' (pretend of course)

Check out this great book by Jackie French Koller

and Celia Barker Lottridge's

Reading opens our minds and inspires us to write, whether it be a short story, a poem or a song

We discuss how our songs come to life in
 the writing process and emphasize

"A good reader makes a good writer"

Our concerts also
  promote good character traits

Who's Gonna Make A Difference?

Respect, teamwork, and tolerance are some of many character traits we emphasize to help make this planet a better place.

Clean Water Flow says , "The people of the world differ on many issues but every living thing needs clean air and clean water to survive.  We must learn to make the right decisions for a better world tomorrow".
Not only does this apply to our relationship with our planet but most importantly with each other.  If we can respect each other, we can surely respect Mother Nature."

"We're all on the same team" adds Pamlico Joe

A sound system is provided for all concerts.

What instruments do we play???

We sing, play guitar, kazoo, harmonica, bongos, and other percussion instruments.

All sound is LIVE...no pre-recorded music
