Who's Gonna Make
A Difference? Recharge your students' love for the environment with this high energy character based concert. Teamwork, cooperation, and tolerance are emphasized as ways to make this planet a better place. Cleanwater Flow says
, "The people of the world differ on many issues but every living
thing needs clean air and clean water to survive. We must learn to make
the right decisions for a better world tomorrow". "We're all on the same team" adds Pamlico Joe
Pamlico Joe and Cleanwater Flow combine interactive songs about reading and writing with our environment. “Reading opens our minds and inspires us to write, whether it be a short story, a poem or a song. A good reader makes a good writer.
Middle School assemblies Middle school concerts are more intimate and focus on writing and perseverance.Middle school concerts focus on coastal heritage and the process of songwriting. Writing becomes a skill students will use the rest of their lives and a good start is essential. Much emphasis is given to journal keeping. The writing process is showcased with songs “made up” simply by looking in our own community. According to Pamlico Joe, "Any good writer will tell you to ’write about what you know’ and we encourage students to get started with what’s near by and in their lives as subject matter." Pamlico Joe also discusses a career in the performing arts. Audience interaction is encouraged. Lots of questions please :)
A sound system is provided for all
concerts. What instruments do we
play???
